This girl was stalked and harassed; some douchefuck even erected an Encyclopedia Dramatica page on her. Because of this, she has deleted much of her presence on the internet.

If I were to take a guess, their name is also probably not Shelly Smyth. This is a villain hiding behind the name and picture of other people, and the only ones that are going to get hurt when you take this course of action are the people to whom the name and picture actually belong.

It’s frustrating, but please just mass-report the twitter account for now.

So frustrating. When I saw the SS’s tweet screencap I was like WTF (obviously), but when I went to her page, there are so many red flags there that made it seem like the chances of this account belonging to middle-aged man, NOT a 14-year-old girl, were pretty high. In particular, I’m thinking of the tweet that says something about her going to shower and finger herself so hard?

Re-blogging for this most recent commentary, so that hopefully this gets shut down before this poor girl gets harassed. :-/ This is a real serious issue, we should workshop some more attacks against it.

PS: Can anyone who has Photoshop or anyone of those programs color over her face in the tweet? I’m sure a lot of people will see that and not even bother reading the commentary. That doesn’t need to keep circulating.
